Hepsia's File Manager allows you to handle your website files using simple point-and-click movements. Right-click contextual menus allow fast access to different file management options, while convenient drag 'n' drop functionality will allow you to upload new files from your personal computer in an instant. You will also find integrated file editors and an image viewer. You will be able to zip and unpack files without difficulty too.
Fast File Uploads and Downloads
Working with the File Manager feels like working with your desktop PC. The built-in drag-and-drop functionality will allow you to easily move files between your PC and the server. Simply select the file that you wish to upload from your desktop computer and then drag it into your browser. The same applies to downloading a file from the File Manager to your personal computer. On top of that, you can download files and even folders to your desktop PC by clicking the Download button.
Easy File Editing Options
With the File Manager graphical user interface, you can create a new file or folder with only a single click of the mouse. All action buttons are conveniently placed above the file/folder list and you can update your files with ease. You can rename or copy a file, move a file to another folder, preview the contents of a file or edit its permissions, erase a file, etc.
Handy Archive/Unarchive Functionality
With the File Manager graphical user interface, you will be able to pack and uncompress all types of files. It works incredibly fast - just select the files you want to make an archive of and click the Compress button. You can even select the archive type (.rar, .zip, and so on). It is just as easy to extract an archive to a specified folder.
File Editors
With the File Manager interface, you actually do not need any third-party software to update your files. There is an image viewer, which permits you to explore the contents of your image files to get a clue about how the images will actually show up on your site. Furthermore, you will find several built-in file editors, which will grant you total control over your files. The plain text editor and the code editor are aimed at more experienced users, whereas the WYSIWYG editor (where you can view all HTML code changes in real time) is also suitable for non-tech-savvy users.
